Overview of the Day Trip

Your adventure starts at your designated meeting point in central Mexico City, where we will embark on a comprehensive 8.5-hour tour that highlights some of the must-see attractions in the capital.

Our journey begins at Tlatelolco, an archaeological site with historical roots in the Aztec civilization. Here, we will explore the Plaza de Tres Culturas, a remarkable area that showcases a blend of pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary architecture. Marvel at the remnants of Aztec pyramids, the viceroy's convent, and modern structures that define this unique space.

Next, we will head north towards Tepeyac Hill, home to the renowned Villa Guadalupe, which is one of the world’s most popular pilgrimage destinations. During our visit to the Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe, dedicated to the patron saint of Latin America, we will also see the older basilica, a site dedicated to Cristo Rey. Expect to spend around 1.5 hours exploring these sacred buildings.

Continuing our exploration, we will make our way to Teotihuacán, celebrated as Mexico's top archaeological site. We'll take a break for lunch at a local eatery before touring the Avenue of the Dead, unveiling the mysteries of the City of the Gods. Our journey will take us through the stunning Quetzalpápalotl Palace and the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, with some free time allocated for personal exploration of this revered area.

At the end of the day, we will return to the initial meeting point in Mexico City.

When reserving your spot, you will need to choose from one of the following pickup locations in Mexico City:

7:30 am: Calle Isabel La Católica, 61-A; CDMX8:20 am: Miga Cafe (Calle Liverpool, 174; St Col. Juarez, CDMX)

Regardless of the schedule provided during booking, please arrive at your selected meeting point at the specified time.

Tour Option with Lunch

This package offers an enhanced experience! During the booking process, you can select an option that includes a full Mexican buffet. This will allow you to follow the outlined itinerary and savor a meal at a restaurant in Teotihuacán.

Tour Option with Pickup

For this choice, we will arrange to collect you from your hotel in Mexico City at the agreed time. Once ready, we will commence the previously detailed itinerary. After the day's exploration, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.

It's important to note that this package includes pickup from hotels in the areas of Polanco, Reforma, Roma-Condesa, and the Historic Center. If you are staying in a different location, we will meet at Sanborns Café (Av. Juárez, 14, Colonia centro).
