Teotihuacán, Guadalupe Basilica & Tlatelolco Day Trip

Get to know the history of the Mexican capital and its religious fervour on this tour of 3 of the icons of local culture: the archaeological areas of Teotihuacán, the Basilica of Guadalupe and Tlatelolco.

Day Trip Details

After meeting at your selected meeting point in the centre of Mexico City, we'll begin our 8.5-hour tour of some of the unmissable sights in the Mexican capital.

Our first stop will be Tlatelolco, the archaeological site known for being part of the Aztec empire. We'll visit the Plaza de Tres Culturas to view the remains of the Aztec pyramids, the viceroy's convent, and contemporary buildings.

Next, we will travel to Tepeyac Hill to visit the current Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe and the old basilica. We will spend approximately 1.5 hours at these sites.

Our tour continues to Teotihuacán, including a lunch stop at a local restaurant. We'll explore the Road of the Dead, Quetzalpápalotl Palace, and Quetzalcóatl Temple, with free time to explore the sacred site independently.

The tour concludes back at the starting point in Mexico City.

This option includes a full Mexican buffet lunch at a restaurant in Teotihuacán, following the described itinerary.

Day Trip with Pickup

With this option, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City at the designated time, and drop you off after the trip. This option includes pickup at hotels in Polanco, Reforma, Roma-Condesa, and the Historic Center. For other areas, pickup will be at Sanborns Café (Av. Juárez, 14, Colonia centro).
