Get to know the history of the Mexican capital and its religious fervour on this tour of 3 of the icons of local culture: the archaeological areas of Teotihuacán, the Basilica of Guadalupe and Tlatelolco.

Day Trip Details

This 8.5-hour tour starts at your selected meeting point in central Mexico City. The first stop is Tlatelolco, an archaeological site of the Aztec empire. You will visit the Plaza de Tres Culturas and see remains of the Aztec pyramids and the viceroy's convent.

The next destination is Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe at Tepeyac Hill, a key pilgrimage site. Approximately 1.5 hours will be spent visiting this basilica and the old basilica which serves as an expiatory temple.

Continuing to Teotihuacán, you will have a lunch stop at a local restaurant before exploring the Road of the Dead. The tour includes visits to the Quetzalpápalotl Palace and Quetzalcóatl Temple, with some free time to explore this sacred site. The tour ends at the starting point in Mexico City.

Day Trip with Lunch

With this option, you can choose to include a full Mexican buffet lunch, enjoying a meal at a restaurant in Teotihuacán during the tour.

Day Trip with Pickup

This option includes hotel pickup in designated areas of Polanco, Reforma, Roma-Condesa, and the Historic Center. If your hotel is outside these areas, pickup will occur at Sanborns Café (Av. Juárez, 14, Colonia centro).
