Day Trip to Valle de Bravo

Our journey begins at the designated meeting point in Mexico City, where we will board a minibus and set off towards Valle de Bravo. After approximately two and a half hours of travel, we will arrive in this enchanting locale, ready to navigate its streets and uncover its most significant landmarks.

The day will commence at the Carmel Maranatha prayer house, a notable convent belonging to the Carmelite Order. Here, we will step inside and delve into the history of this monument along with insights into the Carmelite faith.

Following this, we’ll venture to the Velo de Novia Natural Park, where we’ll encounter a stunning waterfall and ascend to a 30-meter-high viewpoint to take in the mesmerizing views of the surrounding area.

Our next destination will be the picturesque shores of Lake Avándaro, where we will enjoy a leisurely break of 1 hour and 30 minutes to have lunch at our own pace while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Feeling refreshed, we will proceed to visit the renowned Cristo Negro, a key highlight of Valle de Bravo. Our guide will share intriguing tales and legends associated with this iconic representation of the town, which continues to hold many mysteries.

As our excursion concludes, we will board the minibus for our return to Mexico City, wrapping up a memorable 11-hour adventure.
