Description
We will convene at the Sheraton María Isabel Hotel at the scheduled time to initiate our excursion to Valle de Bravo and the Butterfly Sanctuary.
After a drive of 2.5 hours, our first stop will be the Piedra Herrada Butterfly Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you can opt to explore either on foot or horseback.
Once there, you will embark on a 3.5-hour journey through valleys filled with monarch butterflies, a magnificent species that travels over 3,100 miles (more than 5,000 km) from southern Canada to reach this sanctuary.
Following this experience, we will provide you with half an hour of free time to relax or enjoy a snack before we continue on to our next location.
Next, we will head towards Valle de Bravo, one of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns), situated along the shores of the lake of the same name. Here, we will explore the stunning Velo de Novia Natural Park and its remarkable waterfall that plunges more than 30 meters (100 feet) into the valley. You'll have around 1.5 hours to discover this natural wonder.
At the conclusion of our 12-hour journey, we will return to the original meeting point. We look forward to seeing you again!
