In this tour of Cuenca, we'll visit a beautiful viewpoint, a museum, two craft workshops and the historic centre of the city, declared a World Heritage Site. It's the best option to not leave anything out!

Description

At the indicated time we'll pick you up from your hotel and start this complete tour of Cuenca, visiting the great tourist attractions of the so-called Athens of Ecuador.

We'll begin at the Turi viewpoint for the best views of Cuenca. We will also visit the workshop of the renowned ceramist at the Eduardo Vega Gallery.

Next, we'll walk along the Barranco beside the River Tomebamba, seeing the remains of the hanging houses and the Broken Bridge. We'll then head to the Pumapungo Museum, which features exhibitions on anthropology, archaeology, and more.

Afterward, we'll visit a Panama hat factory to learn about the making process using toquilla straw and explore various designs available for purchase.

We will then explore the historic centre of Cuenca, where you can enjoy an Ecuadorian lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we'll visit the San Francisco market and the Plaza de las Flores.

Next, we'll go to Abdon Calderon Park to see the Old Cathedral and the New Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Latin America. We'll conclude by returning you to your accommodation in 7 to 8 hours.
