Tour of Willemstad + Liqueur Tasting

On this walking tour of Willemstad, we'll take you to see the best of Curaçao's capital and do a tasting of the most famous liqueur from the island.

Tour Details

We will meet at our starting point near Willemstad's cruise port. Our first stop will be the Scharloo district, known for its charming restored mansions that are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this area, we'll view the Wedding Cake House, named for its unique architecture. Next, we will visit Landhuis Chobolobo, a former country house and the site of a distillery for the national liqueur Blue Curaçao. Here, we'll enjoy a tasting of this refreshing drink and learn about the island's liqueur history.

The tour continues along Mambo Boulevard, which offers views of Table Mountain, over 3000 metres (9842 feet) tall. Along this seafront promenade, we will see Mambo Beach and the colorful Caribbean colonial-style houses.

Afterwards, we will look for the iconic Queen Juliana Bridge, named for a former Dutch queen. Here, we can admire the views from Santa Ana Bay. The tour concludes after a total of 2.5 hours at our original starting point.
