Tour of Willemstad + Liqueur Tasting

On this walking tour of Willemstad, we'll take you to see the best Curaçao's capital has to offer and include a tasting of the most famous liqueur from the island!

Tour Details

We'll meet at our starting point near Willemstad's cruise port. Our journey begins in the Scharloo district, where we’ll see restored mansions in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this district, we’ll admire the Wedding Cake House, known for its unique architecture. Next, we will visit Landhuis Chobolobo, an old country house that is now home to a distillery of the national liqueur Blue Curaçao. Here, we'll participate in a tasting of this refreshing drink and learn about the history of the liqueur.

The tour continues along Mambo Boulevard, offering impressive views of Table Mountain, standing over 3000 metres (9842 feet) tall. On this seafront promenade, we will see Mambo Beach and its colourful Caribbean colonial houses.

We will also seek out the iconic Queen Juliana Bridge, named in honour of a former Dutch queen, to take in views of Santa Ana Bay. Our tour concludes after a total of 2.5 hours at our original starting point.
