Willemstad Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the bus stop in front of Fuerte Rif to start our guided tour of Willemstad.
We will walk through the streets to the Kura Botanica Hotel, our first stop, where we will admire its historic facade. Then, we will cross the Queen Emma Bridge, enjoying views of the coastline.
Our tour will take us to the historic downtown district, passing by Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635, which is now the Governor's Palace, and a Protestant church located in the courtyard.
Next, we will visit the old floating market, where goods from Venezuela were once sold. Today, local farmers and fishermen sell fresh products and handicrafts. We will also see the oldest active synagogue in the western hemisphere.
After 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude our guided tour of Willemstad in its historic district.
