Willemstad Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the bus stop in front of Fuerte Rif to set off on our guided tour of Willemstad. We'll start walking through the streets until we reach the Kura Botanica Hotel, where we'll make our first stop to admire its historic facade. Afterward, we'll cross the iconic Queen Emma Bridge and take in views of the coastline.
Our tour continues to the historic downtown district, passing by Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635, which now serves as the Governor's Palace and features a Protestant church in its courtyard.
Next, we will visit the old floating market, where local farmers and fishermen sell fresh products and handicrafts. We'll also see the oldest active synagogue in the western hemisphere.
After 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude our guided tour of Willemstad in its historic district.
