Are you ready to explore the wine heritage of Paraná? This journey will take you from Curitiba to the scenic wine route of São José dos Pinhais, where you will have the opportunity to visit four wineries with delightful wine tastings included.

We will commence our adventure by gathering at Rua Rockefeller in Curitiba, from where a bus will transport us to São José dos Pinhais. This journey will take approximately thirty minutes.

Throughout the trip, we will delve into the history of Italian immigration to Brazil during the late 19th century, a pivotal moment that introduced wine culture to the region. As we travel, we will enjoy fascinating insights against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes characterized by farmlands and ample vineyards. A brief stop will also be made at a cactus, succulent, and orchid farm, along with a visit to a strawberry field.

The route will guide us through the rural landscapes of São José dos Pinhais and the Mergulhão colony, where we will explore a total of six wineries. Here, we will gain insight into Brazilian wine production as we tour barrel rooms and discover the intricacies of winemaking.

At each winery, a tasting of local wines and cheeses from São José dos Pinhais awaits you. Midway through our exploration, we will stop at a restaurant where you will have an hour to enjoy lunch. However, be sure to save some appetite, as our next stop will be at a local cheese and charcuterie workshop known for its smoked specialties, followed by a visit to a craft brewery!

After an enriching six-hour experience, our wine tour will conclude back at the original meeting point.
