Canyoning in Rincon de la Vieja

Ready for an adrenaline rush? For this activity, we'll be canyoning through Rincon de la Vieja, a bewitching natural space in northern Costa Rica.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time in The Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín, a popular accommodation near The Rincon de la Vieja National Park. This protected area is located between the provinces of Guanacaste and Alajuela, known for its lush landscapes.

After donning safety gear, including lifejackets, helmets, and harnesses, our instructor will provide safety instructions. Once prepared, we’ll hike to the canyoning location in Rincón de la Vieja.

The first stop will be a waterfall within The Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where we will practice canyoning and abseiling from various heights.

Next, we will head to another waterfall for more canyoning and abseiling opportunities. Adventurers can also swing on the vine known as Tarzan's pendulum. Those looking to cool off can swim in the natural pools of the waterfall.

We will return to the original meeting point approximately two and a half hours after the start of the adventure.
