Join an exhilarating mountain bike tour through the landscapes of Rincon de la Vieja. Meet at a time of your choice at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín to select the appropriate bike equipment and review the route's technical aspects.

Once prepared, we will begin our cycling adventure through Rincon de la Vieja National Park, noted for its natural beauty. The duration and distance of our cycling route will depend on the level of difficulty you choose.

During the ride, be on the lookout for native wildlife such as capuchin monkeys, coatis, armadillos, and peacocks. The tour also includes sights like the Oropéndola waterfall, one of the most stunning cascades in this region of Costa Rica.

After exploring the environmental richness of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, we will conclude our bike tour by returning to the meeting point.

Options

When making your reservation, you can choose one of the following options:

Beginner level

This option covers a 1.5-2.5 hour route, with a total distance of 12.5 km, including 5.5 km uphill and 7 km downhill.

Intermediate level

This option features a 16-km route, with 5.5 km uphill and 10.5 km downhill. The estimated duration is 2-3 hours.

Advanced level

This demanding route covers 30 km over 3-4 hours, divided into two sections: the first part includes 5.5 km of ascent and 7 km of descent, while the second part is 17.5 km with both uphill and downhill segments.
