Access to the Río Negro Hot Springs
The Río Negro hot springs, nestled in the midst of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, represent one of the most sought-after natural wellness destinations in Guanacaste.
Begin your journey at the Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin, conveniently situated within the park, where you can collect your ticket to the hot springs, only 350 meters (approximately a quarter mile) away. This distance provides a brief yet pleasant stroll through the vibrant and lush surroundings of the Costa Rican rainforest.
Upon reaching the Río Negro hot springs, you’re invited to take advantage of all the spa amenities at your own pace before closing time. The facility boasts 10 inviting pools that line the riverbank, with mineral-rich waters maintained at a comfortably warm temperature due to the area’s volcanic undertones.
Additionally, the thermal oasis offers a volcanic mud bath, known for its revitalizing, toning, and exfoliating benefits, which contribute positively to skin health by aiding in the purification of dead skin cells.
