Tubing on the Negro River
At the time of your choice, you'll meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. From this location in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, you'll go on horseback to the Negro River.
After a short route through forests, you'll arrive at the riverside, where helmets and life jackets will be provided. An instructor will explain basic safety rules before you start tubing down the Negro River.
The tubes are individual inflatable rafts for safely floating down the river current. You will navigate a 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids.
During the tour, expect to encounter the scenery of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, known for its vegetation and biodiversity.
Once the tubing concludes, you'll return on horseback to the meeting point, arriving approximately an hour and a half later.
