On this tubing activity down the Negro River, we'll explore one of the main rivers of Rincón de la Vieja National Park.
Tubing on the Negro River
At your chosen time, we will meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. From there, we will travel on horseback to the Negro River.
After a brief journey through forests, we will reach the riverside area, where we will put on helmets and life jackets. The instructor will provide safety instructions, and then we will begin tubing down the Negro River.
The tubes are individual inflatable rafts for safe floating down the river. We will navigate an exciting 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids.
Throughout the tour, we will enjoy the scenery of Rincón de la Vieja National Park, known for its lush vegetation and biodiversity.
Finally, after tubing, we will return on horseback to the meeting point, completing the activity in approximately an hour and a half.
