On this tubing activity down the Negro River, we will enjoy one of the main rivers in Rincón de la Vieja National Park.
Tubing on the Negro River
We will meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin at a time of your choice. From there, we will go on horseback to the Negro River.
After a short route through forests, we will arrive at the riverside area, where we will put on helmets and life jackets. The instructor will explain safety rules before we begin tubing down the Negro River.
The tubes are individual inflatable rafts, allowing us to float safely down the river's current. We will navigate an exciting 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids.
During the tour, we will enjoy the scenery of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, notable for its lush vegetation and biodiversity.
Finally, after tubing, we will return on horseback to the meeting point, arriving approximately an hour and a half later.
