Cusco City & Inca Ruins Tour Itinerary

On your selected activity day, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and taken by minibus to the Plaza de Armas. Here, you will visit the Cathedral of Cusco and admire its architecture and artistic features. Next, you will proceed to the Qoricancha Temple, known as the temple of the sun, a significant religious center of the Inca Empire and a blend of Inca and Spanish culture.

The tour continues to four Inca ruins located close to Cusco. First, visit Sacsayhuaman, a citadel with an hour-long guided tour that explains its architecture. Then, explore the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, the latter featuring waterfalls and pools likely dedicated to water worship.

After four-and-a-half hours of touring, you will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
