Whale Watching in Hauganes

After meeting at Hauganes port, we will board our whale watching boat and set sail on a cruise around northern Iceland to spot local wildlife.

We will spend 1.5 to 3.5 hours sailing in the bay of Eyjafjörður Fjord, observing whales in their natural habitat. An English-speaking guide, an expert in Icelandic wildlife, will share insights about these creatures. If the weather permits, you may also try to catch some small fish nearby. Additionally, we may spot other animals like dolphins and porpoises and learn to identify them. Hot coffee and Icelandic sweets will be provided onboard, alongside free WiFi for sharing photos of the whales.

At the end of our boat trip, we will return to the departure point.

How Many Animals Will We See?

Keep in mind that whales, porpoises, dolphins, and other animals can be unpredictable. The number of sightings may vary based on ocean conditions, winds, and weather. The Arctic climate can change quickly, influencing animal behavior.

Please note that the tour duration may vary based on weather and the time needed to locate whales, with respect for their natural habitat prioritized throughout the activity.
