Discover the wildlife of northern Iceland on this whale watching boat trip in Hauganes. You'll be captivated by the incredible animals here!

Whale Watching in Hauganes

After meeting at Hauganes port, we'll board our whale watching boat and embark on a cruise around northern Iceland in search of local wildlife.

We'll spend two and a half hours sailing in Eyjafjörður Fjord, observing whales in their natural habitat. Our English-speaking guide, an expert in Icelandic wildlife, will share facts about these creatures. Weather permitting, you'll also have the chance to catch some small fish near the whales.

The trip will also allow us to spot dolphins and porpoises. Learn to identify these animals during the tour. To keep warm, enjoy a cup of coffee and some Icelandic sweets on board, which also features free WiFi for sharing whale photos with others.

At the end of our boat trip, we'll return to the departure point.

How many animals will we see?

Please remember that the whales, porpoises, dolphins, and other creatures we search for on this tour are wild animals and their presence is unpredictable. The number of species seen will depend on various factors like sea currents, wind, and weather conditions.
