We'll pick you up at the scheduled time from your hotel in Dakar and head to the first stop, Bandia Nature Reserve. Here, you'll discover a magical forest of baobab trees native to the African savanna.

Upon arrival in Bandia, we'll switch to an all-terrain vehicle for an adventure in this huge nature reserve. You’ll have the chance to see zebras, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, buffalos, and ostriches in their natural habitat.

After the nature reserve tour, we’ll continue to Lac Rose, famous for being the last stage of the Paris-Dakar Rally until 2008. You will have free time to eat before starting an exciting 4x4 tour around the stunning pink lake, which is only separated from the ocean by sand dunes.

Witness inhabitants extracting salt from the lake using traditional techniques. If time permits, you can take a 15-minute dip in the rose-colored water. We will return to Dakar between 9 to 10 hours after starting the activity.

Lac Rose

Due to heavy rains in the summer of 2024, the lake has accumulated a lot of water and lost its color. Salt extraction activities and tours have resumed, but the pink color has not returned yet, and the timing of its return is uncertain.
