Saloum Delta Private Trip

Starting with a pickup from your hotel in Dakar, the journey goes southeast to the Saloum Delta. Upon arriving at the fishing village of Ndangane, you will board a motorized canoe, a common transport method in the area. The ride will take you along the Saloum Delta, where the Sine and Saloum rivers meet and flow into the Atlantic Ocean. During the cruise, you will see landscapes featuring mangrove swamps and palm trees, along with various exotic bird species like pelicans.

A stop will be made for lunch at one of the park's restaurants, where you can sample traditional Senegalese cuisine. Afterward, the excursion continues to a Niominkas village, where the tribe, related to the Serer ethnic group, lives on the river islands and is dedicated to fishing.

The trip concludes back in Dakar, with a return to your hotel approximately 11 to 12 hours after the start of the day.
