Minneriya National Park Safari
Pickup is available from your hotel in Dambulla, followed by a 40-minute drive to Minneriya National Park.
The safari takes place in an all-terrain Jeep, allowing you to explore the park and learn about its inhabitants, including loris monkeys and Sri Lankan crocodiles.
A short break for lunch is included, so bring a picnic. Afterward, witness the renowned Minneriya elephants, characterized by their unique trunk and ears, distinguishing them from African species.
The safari continues with birdwatching, spotting species like herons, pelicans, and ibises, which frequent the park's aquifers and lakes, alongside large buffaloes.
