Minneriya National Park Safari
The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Dambulla, followed by a 40-minute drive to Minneriya National Park. You will embark on a safari in an all-terrain Jeep to explore the park's wildlife, including loris monkeys and Sri Lankan crocodiles.
A lunch break will be provided, so guests should bring a picnic. After lunch, the safari focuses on observing the Minneriya elephants, characterized by their unique trunks and ears. These elephants are distinct from their African counterparts.
The safari also includes birdwatching opportunities, featuring species like herons, pelicans, and ibis, which can often be seen around the park's lakes, alongside large buffaloes.
The jeep safari concludes at the park entrance, followed by a return to your hotel in Dambulla, with a total duration of 5 hours.
