Pidurangala & Hiriwadunna Private Day Trip
At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla and head to Pidurangala, our first stop of the day. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
Upon arrival in Pidurangala, we’ll explore the monastery featuring a statue of a reclining Buddha at the mountain's foot. We’ll then walk toward Pidurangala Rock for views of Sigiriya and Lion Rock.
After taking in the scenery, you’ll have free time for lunch in a nearby area with restaurants.
Next, we’ll travel to the village of Hiriwadunna for an authentic experience, including a journey through rice paddies in an ox-drawn cart and a boat ride on the lake.
We’ll return you to your hotel in Dambulla, arriving at 5 pm.
