Pidurangala & Hiriwadunna Private Day Trip

At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla and head to Pidurangala, our first stop of the day. Our journey should only take 30 minutes.

Upon arrival in Pidurangala, we’ll explore the monastery with a statue of a reclining Buddha at the foot of the mountain. Afterwards, we’ll walk towards Pidurangala Rock. From this extraordinary spot, you’ll see incredible views of Sigiriya and the popular Lion Rock.

After enjoying the views, we’ll visit an area with restaurants where you’ll have free time for lunch.

With renewed energy, we’ll head to the village of Hiriwadunna for an authentic experience. We’ll travel through the rice paddies in an ox-drawn cart and take a boat ride on the lake.

Finally, we’ll take you back to your hotel in Dambulla, arriving at 5 pm.
