Wilpattu National Park
Pickup from your hotel in Dambulla precedes our journey to Wilpattu National Park, a vast nature reserve in northwest Sri Lanka. You will soon be awakened by the sight of leopards.
Onboard a comfortable off-road jeep, we will embark on our safari of Wilpattu. We will encounter the Sri Lankan leopard, distinguishable by its gold fur and black spots. Legends suggest its gaze can stun its prey.
We will also observe the Sri Lankan sloth bear and learn about its unique features. Other species, such as deer, buffalo, and Asian elephants, inhabit the Wilpattu ecosystem, and we will see them in their natural environment.
After a lunch break (picnic required), the safari concludes at the national park entrance at 2 pm. We will then return by minibus to your hotel in Dambulla, arriving approximately 11 hours later.
