Wilpattu National Park Private Safari

We will pick you up from your hotel in Dambulla before heading to Wilpattu National Park, a vast nature reserve in the northwest of Sri Lanka. An off-road jeep will be our transport as we embark on our safari of Wilpattu. On this route, we will observe one of the most iconic species of the region: the Sri Lankan leopard, recognizable by its distinctive gold fur and black spots.

During the safari, we will also see the Sri Lankan sloth bear, with informative insights into this mammal and its unique biological traits. The Wilpattu ecosystem is home to deer, buffalo, and Asian elephants, all of which we will see in their natural environment.

After a lunch break—guests are advised to bring a picnic—the safari concludes at the entrance of the national park at 2 pm. We will then return to your hotel in Dambulla by minibus, arriving approximately 11 hours after the start of the tour.
