Throughout your visit, you'll explore the history of this mansion, centred around 19th-century sugar production. Located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Houmas House is considered a unique attraction. You'll see its impressive art collection and preserved antique furniture.

Opening Hours

The Houmas House Estate is open from 9 am to 8 pm. Guided tours in English take place every half hour. The first tour starts at 9:30 am and the last one is at 7 pm. You can join a tour upon arrival or explore the estate independently.
