On this private tour of Delhi's museums, we will visit the most important exhibition halls of the Indian capital and learn about the culture and history of the country from various perspectives.

Delhi Museums Guided Tour

At the appointed time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi to start the guided tour of the four most significant museums in the capital. Art lovers are welcome.

First, we will head to the Crafts Museum, one of the largest craft museums in India. We will explore different areas, such as the Tribal and Rural Crafts Gallery, the Courtesan Crafts Gallery, and the Folk Culture Gallery, which houses objects that are more than 300 years old. The collection includes terracotta sculptures from Karnataka.

Next, we will visit the National Museum of India, featuring over 200,000 exhibits from prehistoric times to the present day. Key attractions include relics from the Indus Valley, treasures from the Silk Route, and sacred relics of Buddha.

We will continue our tour at the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, also known as Gandhi Smriti, where we will see the place where Gandhi spent his final days before his assassination on 30 January 1948.

Lastly, we will visit the Sikh Temple, one of the outstanding sanctuaries in the city.

After seven hours of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel in Delhi.
