On this private tour of Delhi's museums, we will visit the most important exhibition halls of the Indian capital, exploring the culture and history of the country.

Delhi Museums Guided Tour

At the appointed time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi and begin a guided tour of the four most important museums in the capital of India.

We will first head to the Crafts Museum, one of the largest craft museums in India. Inside, we will explore areas such as the Tribal and Rural Crafts Gallery, the Courtesan Crafts Gallery, and the Folk Culture Gallery, housing objects over 300 years old, including a collection of terracotta sculptures from Karnataka.

Next, we will visit the National Museum of India, where over 200,000 exhibits from prehistoric times to the present day are displayed. Highlights include relics from the Indus Valley, treasures from the Silk Route, and sacred relics of Buddha.

We will continue to the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, also known as Gandhi Smriti, where we will see the site of Gandhi's final days prior to his assassination on 30 January 1948.

Lastly, we will visit the Sikh Temple, one of the notable sanctuaries in the city.

After seven hours of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel in Delhi.
