Discover the spectacular Taj Mahal and its romantic history on this private excursion to Agra by high-speed train. You'll have an English-speaking guide exclusively for you.

Itinerary

Your private tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Delhi early in the morning. You'll head to Hazrat Nizamuddin station by bus and then catch the Gatiman Express, a high-speed train that reaches Agra in just 80 minutes. Breakfast will be provided on board.

Upon arrival in Agra around 9:30 am, you'll meet the tour bus for transportation for the day. Your first stop will be the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, noted for its intricately engraved marble that combines various architectural styles.

After the Taj Mahal, you'll visit the Agra Fort, a significant red stone fortress. You'll have free time to explore the surroundings of the fort and enjoy views of the Taj Mahal, as well as time for lunch (not included). Later, you'll return to Agra train station to board the Gatiman Express. Dinner will be served on board, and upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
