Discover the spectacular Taj Mahal and its romantic history on this private excursion to Agra by high-speed train. You'll have an English-speaking guide exclusively for you.

Itinerary

Your private tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Delhi early in the morning and you'll head to Hazrat Nizamuddin station by bus. You'll catch the Gatiman Express, a high-speed train that reaches Agra in just 80 minutes. Breakfast will be provided on board.

Upon arrival in Agra around 9:30 am, you'll meet the tour bus for transport during the day. The first stop is the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This mausoleum was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, featuring intricately engraved marble and a blend of architectural styles.

After the Taj Mahal, visit Agra Fort, a significant red stone fortress from the Mughal empire. You'll have free time to explore the fort's surroundings and view the Taj Mahal, as well as time for lunch (not included). Later, your guide will return you to Agra train station for the Gatiman Express. Dinner will be served on board, and you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Delhi upon arrival.
