Discover the spectacular Taj Mahal and its romantic history on this private excursion to Agra by high-speed train. You'll have an English-speaking guide exclusively for you.
Itinerary
Your private tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Delhi early in the morning. You'll then head to Hazrat Nizamuddin station by bus to catch the Gatiman Express, a high-speed train that reaches Agra in just 80 minutes. Breakfast is provided on board.
Your arrival in Agra will be around 9:30 am, where you'll be met by a tour bus. You'll head directly to the iconic Taj Mahal, a UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, known for its intricately engraved marble and architectural styles. After your exploration, you'll visit Agra Fort, a significant monument from the Mughal empire, with stunning chambers and mosques.
You'll have free time to explore the fort's surroundings and enjoy views of the Taj Mahal, as well as time for lunch (not included). Later, you will meet your guide to return to Agra train station, where you'll board the Gatiman Express again.
