Immerse yourself in the ancient history and culture of India on this private tour of Delhi. Discover emblematic places such as Gandhi’s tomb and the Red Fort!

Description

After picking you up from your hotel, we'll visit the walled city of ancient Delhi. Inside this fortified area, we'll see the Jama Masjid mosque, one of the largest in India, known for its domes and minarets visible from many parts of the city.

The tour continues with a visit to the Red Fort, a 17th-century palace complex and World Heritage Site, commissioned by Shah Jahan I of the Mughal Dynasty, who also built the Taj Mahal.

From the Red Fort, we'll embark on a rickshaw ride to visit the Chandni Chowk Bazaar, the Raj Ghat memorial, and Gandhi's tomb, where we will remember the history of this prominent leader in the pacifist movement.

In the afternoon, after some free time for lunch, we'll head to New Delhi to see the Qutab Minar, the largest brick-built minaret in the world, constructed to surpass another tower in Afghanistan.

Finally, we will admire the architecture of the Gates of India, the national parliament, and the presidential palace, before returning to your hotel in Delhi.
