After picking you up from your hotel in Medan at 8:30 am, we'll drive west to the town of Bohorok. The drive will take approximately three hours.

Upon arrival in Bohorok, you will have one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will proceed to Gunung Leuser National Park.

We will hike through the Indonesian jungle to explore the UNESCO-protected rainforest. During the two-and-a-half-hour trek, we will encounter the main inhabitants of Gunung Leuser National Park: the orangutans. You will observe them closely and learn about their lifestyle.

We will cover details about their diet, tree climbing behaviors, and the threats posed by palm oil plantations.
