Private Tour of Gunung Leuser National Park
Your tour begins around 8:30 am when we pick you up from your accommodation in Medan. From there, we will embark on a three-hour drive westward towards Bohorok.
Upon our arrival in Bohorok, you'll have an hour of leisure to enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, we will regroup and set off towards Gunung Leuser National Park. Are you prepared to encounter the orangutans?
As we hike through the lush Indonesian jungle, you will be immersed in the stunning scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage site. This two-and-a-half-hour trek will allow us to showcase the park's most famous residents: the orangutans. You will have the opportunity to observe them up close and learn about their natural behavior!
Our guide will provide insights into their diet, demonstrate their tree-climbing skills, discuss their way of life, and highlight the critical threat posed by palm oil plantations to their existence.
At the conclusion of our tour, we will return you to your hotel in Medan by 6 pm.
