Join us for a seafood fishing workshop in Riumar, where you'll learn about a significant tradition of the Ebro Delta. Participants will enjoy a tapa of mussels.

River Ebro Seafood Workshop + Mussel Tasting

We will meet at the designated time on the promenade of Riumar to start the activity focused on shellfish fishing, one of the oldest practices in the Ebro Delta.

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to engage in shellfish fishing. We will cover extraction techniques used by fishermen's ancestors and their traditional tools. Additional insights will be provided about local shellfish species, their reproduction, and their ecological significance in the Ebro Delta Natural Park.

A walking tour along the beach of Riumar leading to Isla Margarita, known for its rich seafood resources at the mouth of the Ebro River, will also be included.

At the conclusion of the walk, a tapa of fresh mussels from the Ebro Delta will be served, along with a choice of beer, soft drink, or a glass of wine from Tierra Alta, enjoyed at a beachfront restaurant. The entire experience lasts approximately 2 hours before we return to the meeting point to conclude the workshop.
