Skyscrapers, Old West stories and a wealth of artistic influence await you with this Denver Guided Tour. You'll explore the capital of Colorado!

Tour Details

At the indicated time we'll meet at the famous sculpture, The Big Sweep, to begin our guided tour of Denver. This tour will explore the history and secrets of the city through its historic buildings and emblematic spaces.

We'll walk to the Colorado Women's History Center, where we will discover the story of women who were part of the Great Western Expansion in a 19th century mansion. This provides a perspective on the region's history beyond men, gold mines, and gunfights.

Next, we'll visit the Colorado State Capitol, built in the late 19th century, whose architecture reflects the U.S. Capitol. We'll learn about the founding of the city and the development of the state.

We will proceed to see the historic Brown Palace Hotel, built in 1890, known for its unique atrium-style architecture and as a meeting place for elite classes. We will discuss stories related to gambling and speakeasies in the area.

Finally, we will cross the 16th Street Mall, one of Denver's renowned pedestrian streets, to reach Larimer Square. This tree-lined square with historic facades will conclude our 2-hour guided tour.
