Get away from the center of Munnar and visit the surrounding forests on this day trip to the Anakulam Elephant Viewpoint. You'll be able to see these gigantic animals up close in their natural habitat.
Day Trip Details
After picking you up at your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am, we'll travel by 4x4 west of the city towards the forests of Anakulam. About two hours later, we'll arrive at the Anakulam elephant viewpoint, located near a small lake where elephants come daily to bathe and drink water. You'll see them from less than 165 feet (50 meters) away.
While we observe the elephants and their calves, we will share interesting information about these animals. After taking photographs, we'll return to the jeep and head back to your hotel, concluding the excursion at 6 pm.
