Day Trip Details
After picking you up at your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am, we'll travel by 4x4 west towards the forests of Anakulam. Be prepared to observe elephants in their natural surroundings.
About two hours later, we'll arrive at the Anakulam elephant viewpoint, near a small lake where these animals come daily to bathe and drink water. You'll see them from less than 165 feet (50 meters) away.
While observing the elephants and their calves, we'll share interesting facts about these animals. You will learn why they are sacred in India and their lifespan during the tour.
After taking photos, we'll return to the jeep and head back to your hotel, concluding the excursion at 6 pm.
