Elephant View Point Private Day Trip

Get away from the center of Munnar and visit the surrounding forests on this day trip to the Anakulam Elephant Viewpoint. You'll be able to see these gigantic animals up close in their natural habitat.

Day Trip Details

After picking you up at your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am, we'll travel by 4x4 west of the city towards the forests of Anakulam. About two hours later, we'll arrive at the Anakulam elephant viewpoint, near a small lake where these animals come daily to bathe and drink water. You'll be able to see them from less than 165 feet (50 meters) away.

While we admire the elephants and their calves, we'll share information about these animals, including why they are sacred in India and their lifespan. After taking photos, we'll return to the jeep and head back to your hotel, where the excursion will conclude at 6 pm.
