Elephant View Point Private Day Trip

Get away from the center of Munnar and visit the surrounding forests on this day trip to the Anakulam Elephant Viewpoint. You'll be able to see these gigantic animals up close in their natural habitat.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will be at your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am, followed by a 4x4 journey westward towards the forests of Anakulam. Expect to see elephants in their natural habitat.

Approximately two hours later, arrival at the Anakulam elephant viewpoint will occur, located near a small lake where elephants come daily to bathe and drink. Observations can be made from less than 165 feet (50 meters) away.

While observing the elephants and their calves, information about these animals will be shared. Insights will include why these animals are sacred in India and their lifespan, all covered during the tour.

After ample opportunity for photographs, return to the jeep will be made and the tour will conclude at your hotel by 6 pm.
