Embarking on this private offroading excursion to the waterfalls of Munnar offers a deep connection with the breathtaking natural beauty of Kerala, India, unveiling some of the region's most stunning landscapes.

Tour Overview

Our adventure begins at 9 am when an all-terrain vehicle collects you from your accommodation, leading us into the untamed wilderness of western Munnar. Prepare to encounter waterfalls, tea gardens, bubbling streams, and charming local villages along the way.

Our initial destination will be the Lakshmi tea plantations. Throughout this segment, we'll pause at numerous vantage points to take in the scenic hills and rolling fields rich in various crops—a truly idyllic sight!

Transitioning from agriculture, we’ll dive into cinema history. From the comfort of the jeep, we'll explore the locations where the film 'A Love Affair', a significant success in Bollywood, was filmed.

Next, we’ll lead you to the mesmerizing Viripara Waterfalls, situated along the picturesque Kallar River. Here, you’ll experience this striking natural feature and have the opportunity to wander through a small spice garden, where you’ll discover how cinnamon, pepper, and other aromatic plants are cultivated.

Are you eager to see elephants in their natural habitat? The Anakulam viewpoint provides an excellent chance to observe these majestic creatures revered in India, perfect for your photography.

Continuing westward in Munnar, prepare for an exhilarating experience with a refreshing plunge in the hidden waterfalls that promise to leave you enchanted. We’ll also conquer a river crossing in our rugged vehicle while visiting the stunning 33 and Perumankuthu waterfalls.

As our day draws to a close, we'll stop at a village near Eravikulam National Park, where you’ll learn about the residents’ way of life in traditional wooden houses and their cultural practices.

The tour wraps up around 8:30 pm, after which we’ll return you to your hotel.
