Description
Meet us at McLeod Ganj Main Square at the specified time to commence our guided tour of this unique area in Dharamshala. We will explore charming streets while learning about the rich Buddhist and Tibetan culture present here.
Our first stop is the Tsuglag Khang Temple, also known as the Dalai Lama Temple, a significant Buddhist temple attracting thousands of pilgrims yearly. We will visit this sacred site to understand the Dalai Lama's role.
Next, we will continue to Kora, one of India's largest Tibetan settlements. We will stroll through the area and meet local residents, including monks and nuns from the monastery.
During our hike to Kora's lookout point, we will participate in reciting sacred mantras while enjoying panoramic views of the Dhauladhar and Himalaya mountain ranges.
Back in downtown McLeod Ganj, you'll have free time to explore the main market and purchase souvenirs, including Tibetan mats and carpets.
After 3 hours of cultural immersion, we will return to our starting point to conclude the tour.
