At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Riyadh and head northwest to Ushaiqer, a significant village in the region. After approximately two hours of driving, we will arrive at Ushaiqer, a World Heritage Site located at the foot of a notable red mountain. Upon arrival, we will walk through its streets, learning about its history, which spans over a millennium.

Ushaiqer has historically served as a reference point for pilgrims travelling to Mecca from Kuwait due to its freshwater springs and extensive olive and palm plantations, providing shade from the desert climate. During the tour, we will navigate its narrow streets to admire traditional Najdi-style houses, elegant palaces, and ancient mosques.

To conclude the visit to Ushaiqer, we will enter the Al Salem Museum, which displays local heritage such as ancient tools, embroidered clothing, jewellery, and weapons.

Before returning to Riyadh, we will stop for a delicious picnic lunch in the desert, enhancing the overall experience. We anticipate dropping you back at your hotel about 8 hours after the start of the tour.
