Activity Overview

Our journey begins with a pickup from your hotel, after which you'll board a minibus destined for the beautiful banks of the Don Diego River, one of the prominent waterways in this Colombian region.

Upon arrival, a short 20-minute hike will lead you deeper into the enchanting river landscapes. Along the way, we'll discuss the rich variety of flora and fauna indigenous to the Don Diego River, providing an excellent opportunity to catch glimpses of howler monkeys in their natural habitat, creating truly memorable moments.

Before embarking on our river adventure, we'll explore the Taironaka Museum, where you can admire archaeological artifacts and wander through the stunning terraces. This 30-minute session will enhance your understanding of the indigenous culture of the region, revealing customs and traditions that remain vibrant today.

Once we reach the riverbank, our floating devices will be ready for the tubing journey along the Don Diego River. Enjoying the thrill of gliding through this lush area, you'll have the chance to observe various species of exotic birds native to this tropical paradise.

After a day of delightful exploration in the Colombian Caribbean, we will transport you back to your hotel approximately four hours after our initial departure.
