Burgundy Wine Tour

At the scheduled meeting time, we will gather at Place Darcy in Dijon and journey into the Burgundy region, where we will uncover the secrets behind its finest export: wine. Prepare to traverse the stunning landscapes of the Cote d'Or, adorned with quaint villages. Are you set to indulge your taste buds? Let’s embark!

Our first stop will be a remarkable 18th-century castle, a distinguished site to delve into the rich history of Burgundy wine. Here, we will unveil the secrets of the local vineyards and highlight the unique characteristics of the various grape varieties cultivated in the area. Following this, you will participate in a wine tasting workshop featuring comparative tastings of exquisite Burgundy wines produced at the estate.

To enhance your experience, we will savor a traditional picnic-style mâchon, showcasing a selection of regional Burgundy delicacies, including artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, all paired with even more delightful wines—a true gastronomic pleasure!

Post-lunch, we will head to a family-owned winery in Meursault for a tasting of their unique offerings, along with a selection of wines crafted on-site. We will then navigate the vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and explore the renowned Montrachet Grand Cru, celebrated as one of the world’s elite vineyards, particularly noted for its exceptional white wines originating from the Chardonnay grape. This vineyard is designated as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, making it a pivotal experience for aficionados of premium viniculture.
