5-Day Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Damascus

Welcome to Syria! Upon landing at Damascus Airport, our team will assist you with arrival procedures. Afterward, you will be transported to a centrally located hotel in Damascus. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the area and savor the local culinary delights at your leisure.

Day 2: Exploring Damascus

Following breakfast at the hotel, your exploration of the historic city of Damascus will begin. The day’s first highlight will be the National Archaeology Museum, where you’ll uncover the history of Syria’s capital through fascinating exhibitions. Next, a visit to the Azem Palace will provide insight into the lifestyles of noble families from the past.

Our journey continues to the Saladino Mausoleum and the significant Umayyad Mosque, both critical sites in the Islamic heritage. You will also stroll along Right Street, explore the Saint Ananias Chapel and the Window of Saint Paul, and venture into the vibrant Damascus souks to discover its bustling marketplace.

After a full day of discovery, you will return to your hotel for a relaxing evening, enjoying the local cuisine at your own rhythm.

Day 3: Damascus to Palmyra and Homs - Al Meshtaieh

After a hearty breakfast in Damascus, we’ll set off towards the magnificent ruins of Palmyra, a site recognized as a World Heritage Site. Prepare to explore one of Syria's most significant archaeological locations!

Despite previous adversities, the monumental site of Palmyra remains remarkably preserved. Highlights include the Temple of Bel, the Monumental Arch, the Great Colonnade, the agora, and the theater. You will also visit the stunning necropolis of Palmyra, set against a mountainous backdrop, and marvel at its diverse tombs.

After our visit, we’ll continue west, stopping for lunch before heading to Homs. Here, you will have a chance to explore the old town and its citadel. The day concludes at your hotel in Al Mestaieh (Almishtaya), a charming locale near Krak des Chevaliers (Al-Husn), where you can enjoy dinner at your convenience.

Day 4: Al Mestaieh - Krak des Chevaliers - Return to Damascus

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take a brief 15-minute drive to the majestic fortress of Krak des Chevaliers. This breathtaking stronghold, a World Heritage Site associated with the Knights Hospitaller, is a captivating glimpse into the Middle Ages.

You will uncover the historical secrets of this castle during your visit, followed by a return trip to the capital. En route, we’ll stop for lunch on your own before returning to the same hotel in Damascus where you spent your initial nights, allowing you time to unwind and dine on your own schedule.

Day 5: Departure from Damascus

After breakfast at the hotel, we will assist you with your transfer to Damascus Airport, ensuring you arrive with ample time to catch your flight home.
