Tour Details
Day 1: Djerba - Chahbania - Tataouine - Chenini - Ksar Ghilane
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Djerba and head to Tataouine. Our first stop after 1.5 hours will be the salt lake of Chahbania, followed by a visit to Tataouine for a 1-hour walk through the village and market. Next, we'll stop at the village of Chenini and enjoy a traditional Amazigh lunch before heading to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane for relaxation or optional activities like camel rides or quad biking. We will arrive at Zemla camp for dinner and a night under the stars.
Day 2: Ksar Ghilane - Tamazret - Sidi Idriss - Toujane - Djerba
After breakfast, we'll head to Matmata, stopping in Tamazret for mint tea. In Matmata, we'll visit a troglodyte house and share a homemade lunch. We will then visit the Sidi Idriss troglodyte hotel, associated with the Star Wars saga, followed by a final stop in Toujane, known for its carpets and honey. We'll return to your hotel in Djerba between 3 and 4 pm.
Accommodation
This activity includes 1 night of accommodation in a haima at Zemla camp, with single, double, triple, and quadruple tents available, featuring electricity and shared gender-separated facilities.
