Tour Details
Join us to discover the heart of Basque culture. We will meet at number 2 of Bengoetxea Street at the scheduled time and depart from San Sebastián to Albaola, a museum dedicated to the recovery of Basque maritime heritage.
Upon arrival at the Albaola Maritime Culture Factory, we will explore the secrets of the Cantabrian Sea and learn about the past of the Basque maritime industry. The visit includes the construction of historic vessels, such as the "San Juan", a 16th-century whaler considered one of the first transoceanic cargo ships from the Basque Country to Newfoundland.
After the museum visit, we will go to a Basque cider house for a tour to learn about the production of one of northern Spain's notable beverages.
Following the tour, we will enjoy a cider tasting and a meal that includes:
