Tour Details
Discover the heart of Basque culture! At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 2 of Bengoetxea Street and depart San Sebastián for Albaola, a museum dedicated to recovering Basque maritime heritage.
Upon arrival at the Albaola Maritime Culture Factory, we will explore the secrets of the Cantabrian Sea and learn about the historical Basque maritime industry. The visit includes observing the construction of historic vessels, notably the old whaler "San Juan", a 16th-century example of early transoceanic cargo ships from the Basque Country to Newfoundland.
Following our exploration of the museum, we will proceed to a Basque cider house for a tour highlighting the production of this renowned regional beverage.
After the tour, we will enjoy a cider tasting and a meal in the restaurant that includes:
