Discover the Town of Oñati and The Aranzazu Sanctuary - Full-Day Tour

Join us and enjoy a wonderful morning in the interior of Guipuzcoa. Oñati, recently named one of the best towns in the world for tourism according to UNWTO, will leave you impressed by what it has to offer. Sancti Spiritus University is one of the most important attractions of Oñati, but it is not the only one, the church of San Miguel, the Bidaurreta monastery, Fueros and Santa Marina squares or the palaces of Antia, Madinabeitia and Baruekua will also catch your eye.

Next we will visit the Aranzazu sanctuary where according to legend, the Virgin appeared to a shepherd named Rodrigo de Balzategi on a thorn tree and he asked her: "Arantzan zu?" (You on a thorn tree?). During the following centuries the Franciscan friars made Arantzazu a place of devotion and pilgrimage, and an exponent of art and culture.
