Tour of San Sebastián, Biarritz, and Bayonne
Departing from San Sebastián, we will embark on our adventure, arriving in approximately 45 minutes at the delightful town of Biarritz, nestled in the French Atlantic Pyrenees.
Upon arrival, you will join a guided tour that showcases the city's key attractions, well known for its vibrant surfing culture. Stroll along the scenic promenade and admire iconic sites such as the Casino, Hotel du Palais, Grand Plage, Port des Pêcheurs, and St. Eugenie Church. Following the tour, enjoy some leisure time, lasting between one to one and a half hours, to savor a meal at a local eatery.
The next destination is the enchanting town of Bayonne, located in the French Basque Country.
Delve into the history of this medieval town, famously recognized as the site where King Charles IV and King Ferdinand VII of Spain endorsed the abdication in favor of Napoleon Bonaparte.
As we explore the Grand Bayonne district, you will encounter the magnificent Saint Mary's Cathedral, the historic Château Vieux, the Port Neuf, the Town Hall, the lively Halles market, as well as the picturesque Petit Bayonne and Saint-Esprit bridges.
Our journey returns to San Sebastián, where you will partake in a brief walking tour through the city's historic core. Here, you can visit the stunning Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Coro, the Town Hall, and the lively port.
Concluding our excursion, we will escort you back to the original meeting point, arriving approximately eight and a half hours after our departure.
