Boat Excursion to Santa Clara Island

Choose your preferred time and gather at Paseo del Muelle, right next to the Chapel of San Pedro, where your boat will be poised to whisk you away to the charming Santa Clara Island. Are you ready to embark?

For a duration of half an hour, we will navigate the scenic waters of La Concha bay, treating you to breathtaking views of the coastline and the cityscape. Witness landmarks such as the City Hall, La Perla spa, Mount Urgull, Miramar Palace, and the Comb of the Wind sculpture. If you weren’t smitten with the city already, this vantage point will surely win you over!

Approaching Santa Clara Island, you’ll spot its iconic lighthouse, with the opportunity to explore the island for as long as you desire before catching a return boat to the city. Interestingly, did you know that this island served as a sanctuary for plague victims in the 16th century?

Boats headed back to San Sebastián leave from Santa Clara Island at the following intervals:

Every 30 minutes: June through SeptemberHourly: for the remainder of the year.

The final departure from the island occurs:

At 8 pm (from June to September)At varying times during the off-season, as the last schedule depends on daily timetables.

Note that on the last departure from San Sebastián, disembarking on Santa Clara Island will not be possible. Instead, a 40-minute cruise will take place around the Bay of La Concha, without a stop at the island.
