Uncover the hidden gem of San Sebastián through this Traditional Cider House Tour, where you will delve into the world of sidra, tasting this emblematic Spanish beverage.
Description
We will commence our journey on Bengoetxea Street in San Sebastián, embarking on a short 20-minute trip to reach a traditional cider house.
Once we arrive, you will explore the fascinating cider house facilities. The tour will take you through the apple orchards, cellars, and reveal the production process alongside the rich history that connects cider to the Basque region.
Following our exploration, partake in the Txotx ritual, where you can taste the apple broth straight from the vats. During this experience, a delightful menu awaits you, featuring traditional appetizers, a cod omelet, fried cod with peppers, grilled T-bone steak, and a dessert of cheese paired with quince jelly and walnuts.
The tour will wrap up after four hours, returning you to the original meeting point in San Sebastián.
