Beautiful beaches, unique rock formations and fishing villages await on our Zumaia, Zarautz & Getaria Day Trip. We'll set off from San Sebastian and spend the day exploring Guipuzkoa's coastline.

Zumaia, Zarautz & Getaria Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll meet at San Sebastian Bus Station and hop on a minibus. We'll leave the city behind and head for Guipuzkoa's coastline to get our day trip started.

After a 30-minute drive, we'll make our first stop at the viewpoint of Mount Talaimendi. This natural balcony boasts incredible views of Guipuzkoa's coastline and the beautiful town of Zarautz.

Next, we'll head to Zarautz to stroll through its streets and learn some history before hopping back on the minibus.

We'll then travel west along the coast until we get to Getaria, the birthplace of designer Balenciaga. At Malkorbe Beach, we'll pause to admire the coastal scenery, spotting a small island and observing how Getaria climbs up the coast. These beaches were also the birthplace of navigator Juan Sebastián Elcano.

The last stop will be in Zumaia, where you'll find San Telmo Beach. We'll stroll along this beach, also known as Itzurum, to discover exceptional flysch rock formations. Additionally, if you're a Game of Thrones fan, you'll enjoy walking along the beach where Daenerys planned her conquest of the Seven Kingdoms.

Our day trip will end between 4 and 4 and a half hours after it begins, dropping you off back at the starting point.
