Beautiful beaches, unique rock formations and fishing villages await on our Zumaia, Zarautz & Getaria Day Trip. We'll set off from San Sebastian and spend the day exploring Guipuzkoa's coastline.

Zumaia, Zarautz & Getaria Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll meet at San Sebastian Bus Station and hop on a minibus. We'll leave the city behind and head for Guipuzkoa's coastline to get our day trip started.

After a 30-minute drive, we'll make our first stop at the viewpoint of Mount Talaimendi. This location offers views of Guipuzkoa's coastline and the town of Zarautz.

Next, we'll head to Zarautz and explore its streets while learning about its history before continuing on the minibus.

We'll travel west along the coast to Getaria, the birthplace of designer Balenciaga. At Malkorbe Beach, we'll pause to admire the coastal scenery and observe how Getaria climbs up the coast. These beaches were also the birthplace of navigator Juan Sebastián Elcano.

The last stop will be in Zumaia, at San Telmo Beach, also known as Itzurum. We'll explore this beach, known for its flysch rock formations, a unique geological site. Additionally, fans of Game of Thrones may recognize this beach.

Our day trip will conclude between 4 and 4 and a half hours after the start, dropping you off back at the starting point.
