Do you want to visit one of the largest castles in England? With this ticket to Dover Castle, you'll learn all about this medieval fortress, including its role in World War II.

Description

Situated at the narrowest point of the English Channel, Dover Castle is one of the largest and most strategically important strongholds in the United Kingdom, known as the 'Lock and Key of England'. During your visit, the medieval exhibition will transport you to the time of King Henry II, detailing the monument's origin in the 12th century.

Inside the castle, you'll observe recreations of rooms such as private chambers, guest rooms, great halls, the armory, and the kitchen. The site also offers views of the Strait of Dover and the town of Dover.

Additionally, you can explore the medieval underground tunnels built into the white cliffs of Dover, which were significant during World War II, including their association with the Miracle of Dunkirk in the 1940s.
