We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Salvador de Jujuy at the designated time and depart for Calilegua National Park, located about two and a half hours away.

During the journey, we will pass through San Pedro de Jujuy and Libertador General San Martin, where our guide will discuss the significance of sugar cane in the region and the history of the colonial haciendas associated with its cultivation.

Upon arrival at Calilegua National Park, we will begin exploring the nature reserve, its history, and the various plants and wildlife. The park has been protected since 1979 and is home to over 120 types of trees, various ferns, and more than 400 species of mammals and birds, including toucans, tapirs, coatis, and jaguars.

We will proceed to the Mesada de las Colmenas area, situated at an altitude of 1,900 meters (6,234 feet), offering stunning views of the natural landscape.
