Hornaditas Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Jujuy to start a route through the north of Argentina.
The first stop will be at the Quebrada de Sapagua, where we will take a one-hour walk to explore the wall paintings of Sapagua. You will learn about the significance of these rock art figures and the historical context of the region during the Inca and Spanish periods.
Next, we will visit the nearby community of Hornaditas. Residents will welcome us into their homes to share their customs and traditions. You will learn how to use traditional looms, prepare local dishes, and create clay ornaments. A traditional lunch featuring several local dishes will provide deeper insight into their culture.
After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Jujuy, arriving at 6 pm.
