Hornaditas Adventure

Your adventure begins at 8 am when we will collect you from your accommodation in Jujuy to embark on an extraordinary journey through northern Argentina.

Our first destination will be the Quebrada de Sapagua, where a one-hour hike awaits. Here, you will uncover the renowned rock paintings of Sapagua. During this time, you'll gain insight into the significance of various figures depicted in this ancient art and discover the diverse interpretations surrounding these visuals. We will also delve into the historical transformations of this region throughout the Inca and Spanish epochs.

Having explored the history of Sapagua, we will proceed to the charming village of Hornaditas. The community's members will welcome us into their homes, providing an authentic glimpse into their customs and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

You'll learn, for example, how to use their traditional looms, prepare local culinary delights, and craft clay ornaments. By the conclusion of your visit, you will feel like an honorary member of the Hornaditas community! To deepen your appreciation of their way of life, a delightful traditional lunch featuring an array of regional dishes awaits.

After savoring the meal, we will head back to your hotel in Jujuy, with an expected arrival time of 6 pm.
