Guided Tour of San Salvador de Jujuy
You will be picked up between 9:00 and 9:15 am at your chosen meeting location to embark on a guided exploration of San Salvador de Jujuy.
The journey begins at the San Salvador de Jujuy Cathedral, an architectural gem of the colonial era, constructed in the 17th century. Following this, we will visit the Palacio de Gobierno de Jujuy, where the first Argentinian flag, gifted by General Manuel Belgrano, is displayed—an emblematic piece of Argentina's history.
Our guided adventure will lead us through the historical center of San Salvador de Jujuy, revealing significant monuments including the Lavalle Museum and the Provincial Archaeological Museum.
Next, we will cross the Rio Grande and stroll through the vibrant neighborhoods of the city, such as Ciudad de Nieva, ultimately arriving at the breathtaking Alto La Viña viewpoint. Throughout the tour, there will be opportunities to admire the six sculptures crafted by renowned Argentinian artist Lola Mora.
The tour is expected to conclude at 1:00 pm, returning you to the original meeting point.
