Bohemian Saxon Switzerland Tour

Tour Details

In the morning, we'll collect you from your hotel in Dresden to start our tour to the Bohemian Saxon Switzerland National Park. After a journey of one hour, we'll arrive at our first stop: Bastei Bridge, from where you'll enjoy some spectacular panoramic views of the canyon of the river Elbe.

From there we head to the Pravcicka Archway in the Czech part of the Bohemian Saxon Switzerland National Park. Here, you'll see a majestic natural rock formation up close, allowing you to appreciate its grand scale and beauty. This archway is the biggest stone archway in all of continental Europe.

Next, we'll visit a local restaurant to enjoy the traditional Czech cuisine from an à la carte menu, which also includes a beer, wine, or a soft drink.

With our energy restored, we’ll make our way to Kamnitz Gorge. You'll take part in a wonderful boat ride through this beautiful area, giving you the chance to discover every part of this magical location.

Finally, we’ll return you to your hotel in Dresden where we'll conclude the tour.

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose from the following two options:

Summer tour (10-12 hours): April 20 to November 2Winter tour (8 hours): November 4, 2024 to April 19

The primary difference between the seasons is that the Kamenice Gorge boat tour is only available on the summer tour. Additionally, the summer hiking route will cover 11 kilometers (6.8 miles), compared to 8 kilometers (5 miles) during the colder months, visiting the Bastei Bridge and the Prav?ická Archway or the Tisá Rocks.

How Does It Work?

You'll start your day with hotel pickup in Dresden, followed by a scenic drive to the park. Once there, you will explore the Bastei Bridge and the Pravcicka Archway, maximizing your experience with panoramic views and natural beauty before enjoying a meal at a local eatery.
