Discounts on public transport

The Dresden Regio Card serves as a ticket on local public transport in the city of Dresden. The card can be valid for 1, 2, or 3 days and is effective until 4 am the following day. You can also receive discounts of up to 10% on tram and bus travel in the Elbe region, as well as on the Dresden suspension railway, the Kirnitzschtal tramway, and the Weißeritztalbahn railway.

How does it work?

The card will be activated the first time you use it in any museums, exhibitions, or transport services, and will be valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours, depending on your booking. For example, a 48-hour card activated on Monday at 2:30 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 2:30 pm.

Collecting your card

You can collect your Dresden Regio Card from one of the following tourist information points:

Frauenkirche tourist information point: QF-Passage offices, Neumarkt, 2. Open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturdays until 6 pm, and Sundays until 3 pm.Central Station tourist information point: Weiner Platz, 4. Open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm.
