Excursion to the Great Mosque and the Abu Dhabi Louvre

On this day trip to Abu Dhabi, you'll visit two significant monuments in the UAE, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre Museum.

Tour Details

Pickup is from your hotel for a 90-minute journey to Abu Dhabi in an air-conditioned bus. The first stop is the Louvre Museum, the inaugural Louvre outside France, featuring over 600 pieces from various continents, including works from the French Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Orsay Museum, and Palace of Versailles. You can explore the museum at your own pace and view the “Rain of Light” spectacle.

Next, visit the Sheikh Zayed Great Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, accommodating up to 40,000 people over a total area of 12 hectares. A guided tour will allow you to access its interior and appreciate the blend of Islamic and modern art.

The tour concludes with a return to Dubai, lasting a total of 8-9 hours.

Pickup is included from the Port Rashid cruise terminal and selected hotels, but is not available in the following areas: Naif, Al Sabkha, Sport Motor cities, Dubai Investments Park, Discovery Garden, Jebel Ali, Dubai Production City, Albarsha South, Al Maha Resort & Bab Al Shams.

Important Information

The Grand Mosque is closed on Fridays between 5 pm and 7 pm, with public entry suspended during Muslim festivals.Men should wear long trousers and long sleeves to enter the mosque; women must wear loose, non-transparent clothing, covering arms, legs, and head. An abaya can be provided upon request.
