Have you just arrived in Dunedin? On this guided tour, we'll discover this Victorian city's most significant and exciting landmarks!

Activity Details

Dunedin is known as the best-preserved Victorian city in the Southern Hemisphere, situated in Otago Bay.

Our first stop will be the Octagon, a bustling area forming an octagonal shape.

Next, we will visit Baldwin Street, recognized as the steepest street in the world. Afterward, we will proceed to the Signal Hill lookout for panoramic views of Dunedin and Otago Bay.

Our tour will continue to the Botanic Gardens, where you will have 20 minutes of free time to explore the plant life. We will then visit the Northern Cemetery to learn about Thomas Bracken, an important historical figure in Dunedin.

Finally, we will return to the city centre to see architectural landmarks, including the University, Otago Church, and the Dunedin Railway Station. This railway station, built in the early 1900s, is notable for its Flemish Renaissance style and porcelain mosaic floor.
