If you find yourself in Dunedin, don't miss the chance to visit New Zealand's only castle. On the day of the activity, we'll meet at The Octagon at the appointed time and head inland to the Otago Peninsula to reach Larnach Castle.

Upon arrival, you'll be taken on a one-hour guided tour of the castle. The tour includes the story of William Larnach, an Australian merchant and politician, and the reasons he built this castle for his wife. The tour will cover the use of European expertise and the finest materials.

As we explore the various rooms, admire the artistic decorations and Edwardian furniture. After the castle visit, you'll have some free time to stroll around the castle gardens.

The gardens of Larnach Castle feature a variety of plants from around the world, including the Patterned Garden, Lost Rock Garden, Serpentine Walk, and Laburnum Arch .

Finally, we'll travel back to Dunedin and drop you off at the starting point after 3 hours of activity.
