La Ferrería & El Pueblito Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our day trip to some of Durango State's most beautiful spots.

First, we'll visit the La Ferrería archaeological site and learn about the tribes such as the Nahua and Tepehuano. This includes viewing a ball game, traditional houses, terraced houses, and petroglyphs that indicate the settlement's antiquity.

Next, we'll explore the former hacienda La Ferrería de Flores, established in 1855. Here, we will understand the importance of the mining industry while walking through the old stables converted into gardens, with views of the Tunal River canyon.

We will proceed to the El Pueblito Ecological Park, featuring open green spaces, volleyball courts, zip lines, and hanging bridges. You will have free time for lunch; we recommend trying elotes (corn on the cob) and carnitas (pulled pork). Additionally, the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe is recommended for a visit.

After a day exploring Durango State, we will return to your hotel 8 hours later.
